Arizona Final Wage Payment Rule

by Deborah Z Mark

Arizona House Bill 2519 stipulates that if an employee is involuntarily terminated, the employee must be paid all wages due within seven working days (previously three working days) or at the end of the next regular pay period, whichever is sooner.

If an employee quits, all wages due must be paid on the next scheduled pay day based on the pay period in which the voluntary termination occurred.
